Jesus!

I always here about these guys here,e specially from Hawk so I finally decided to download them and thank god I did. I just listened to "Sound The Alarm" and was instantly blown away. It is so fucking killer. I hear a tiny hint of older Queensryche in them but besides that they are amazing, original and something I have been looking for!

Thanks guys.

P.S. I am downloading their albums now. Hopefully ill be able to find these actual cd's to own one day.

Congrats!!! Anacrusis Rules Dude Be sure to Check Out Manic Impressions and When you do play "Still Black" and PLAY IT LOUD! :D Sound the Alarm is good too and be sure to read the History too its amusing

You'll like 'em. They started off as a more straight forward thrash band though(Suffering Hour), but a good one. Then, they gradually went weird and proggy, but that's a good thing.

I got both "Manic Impressions" and "Scream And Whispers" used in a CD store some months ago. Half.com have them at ~$5 each. They even have "Reason" at $12.

NP Anacrusis - 'Paint A Picture'

Holy shit!!! Anacrusis seems to take of at the Old school forum. O yeah!! Just what I wanted. They deserve this soo much. What fantastic band they are. Let hope for a reunion. That would blow my mind and I would travel the world for it!!

I am very happy you like them this much GraveDigger. Having an open mind is a win/win situation. Enjoy Anacrusis bro' :headbang:

Anacrusis were WAY ahead of their time which still makes them an excellent band today. I can listen to them today and they still seem as fresh as they did eight years ago. Yet another highly recommended band!
Thats what I always though about them too.

Going to these second hand shops is somehow depressing, you always wonder why people throw away all your favorite albums :D
Without them trowing away your favorite albums you could not buy them. Think about it. You should be glad. :headbang:

Which is to me a double pissing-off situation:

a) they pissed me off by getting rid of good music.
b) they pissed me off by not getting rid of good music I want, instead of the one I already have.

I thinks the vocals are really impressive, but i'm still not really into them, I guess I need to give them more time to get in.
Well, if you don't like them thats fine too. Don't feel pressured or obligated to like them. Thats a bad way to start.

Taste is personal. People are different. Just because some of us like anacrusis does not mean you will like them.

Just as long as you think Lemmy = GOD!!!

"Screams & Whispers" is one of the top original metal albums of all time! Defintely years ahead of it's time! Anacrusis were victims of a poor record label (in terms of pushing a band), and it was tragic that they broke up.

I actually went to a show where they were opening up for Mercyful Fate in 1993. Unfortunately, the security were complete assholes and gave us the anal-cavity search at the door, and Anacrusis were finished with their 30 minute set by the time I got in.   This still is one of my worst concert experiences ever, even though Fate were great.

I hear what you are saying. They perfomed just a few miles away as support act of Death. I had tickets and was ready to go.

I got really sick that day. I could not go!!!

Time for a reunion of Ana fucking crusis!!!
