Anacrusis, re-recording needed?

Yea I know. I wanted to post the news a few weeks ago but I forgot. :erk:

Anyway here is re-recorded version of 'Present Tense'

And here 'Stop Me'

I don't like re-recorded version of albums. But I have to say this is done very good. YMMV. :)

It took me a lot to found the first two CDs. And my version of "Suffering Hour" is kinda bootleg, so I won't mind to find at least that one in a better version.
Like you I'm against re-recording, but since this it's made by the original musicians it may work for me as a substitute.

Yea he does. In a way it might be a bonus that Anacrusis was not very active on the live front. Al least his voice is not completely shot.

Cant wait for these to be released!! I have compared the 2 tracks they posted with the originals and it seems they are doing a great job and I am willing to bet that the work will be right on par with the originals and the production will by far surpass the originals which is a very good thing!! especially since I enjoyed the 2006 re-mix/master of Manic Impressions. it might not be new material, but it will hopefully breathe new life into these older classics!!

Me too I read about this on their site like 2 weeks ago, I wanted to post but forgot aswell .... I think they call that disorder CRS (Cant Remember Shit) :loco: I am not normally to fond of rerecordings either but I really do think these albums will benefit from it especially since it sounds like they are doing it right!!
