anyone here into these guys?

I got Alternative 4 the other day; pretty good album. Nice and mellow.

yeeah, anathema is great. :hotjump:

you should check out at least judgement immediatly...
A Fine Day to Exit and Eternity are both masterpieces as well...

thumbs up. what i heard so far is quite impressive, but currently i rather stick to fast-paced music.

Alternative 4 is one of my all time fave albums....actually it's the album I constantly hear when I'm in the most depressive of the moods.....let's my sadness concentrate and drip away!

fathervic (always choosing the fourth alternative when sad)

i like a few songs, but we are still in the non-buttkicking department. they manage to put one very good ballad and one very good fast-paced song on each record, but the rest of the stuff i find quite sleepy. i'm very much into "leave no trace" from a fine day to exit, and "panic" is quite interesting too. but if i have to go for slow, doomish songs i'd rather pick anything by katatonia or paradise lost draconian times era.

rahvin.

I used to like them a lot, not very fond of them now, i think the guy sings a bit terribly :p

My fav songs though are: One Last Goodbye, Parisienne Moonlight, Empty, Regret, A Dying Wish, Deep, Fragile Dreams (dunno about albums and i haven't heard everything).

I like them very much, the newer stuff and the old things are both very good, but it depends on your mood which one you start listen to(sad, depressive, chilled, drunken, happy, during sexual activities with your (girl)friend ...)
some good songs:
sleepless
a dying wish
empty
parisienne moonlight
