So they play the "B Sides" and not the same stuff The Maidens play every show? Hmm I wonder if he knows what a B Side is and I would like to hear what song they do that the Maidens have not played. I guarantee there is not one song they did the Maidens have not played. Sounds quite cocky if you ask me. And Danny, I didn't see you commenting on it.
So oh Hollier Than Thou King Hesher Singer of Ancient Mariner, are you saying your concerts are mostly B Sides? So that would mean you play these songs?

The singer has Bruce's vocals down very well.
Kudos to him on that. Although I thought I was the only one who uses the line about "looking like Bruce if he let himself go" thing. 
I met one of the dudes when we played Yoshi's recently--he gave us Ancient Mariner shirts. Nice fella. It's all good. Nothing wrong with a little Maiden tribute rivalry anyway....

Wierd. They gave me a really cute Ancient Mariner shirt which I've worn a bunch and any time I get asked about it I say it's from this really cool other tribute band and tell them to check it out. Guess my stance on that is gonna change

This is the Dave Murray from Ancient Mariner. This has been an amazing "scandal." Just quickly, since I've responded to the Facebook stuff too, this is not our band's position; it was drunk rantings of our Harris at the end of Danny's party, from last December. I only just saw the clip yesterday. He is actually a big fan, came to see the Maidens, and spent the whole time watching and writing down the setlist and taking notes to be inspired to play better our next time out. He tried saying something absurd to be funny, sarcastically, on what was a birthday boy's camera, most likely with the help of mr. Jameson. We do what we do, which goes no deeper than the Maidens, and we strive to have shows as good as yours, and we are just having fun, playing music we love. Your fans are awesome, they've been crushing us! Now, we are jealous. I don't want to win them over or promote our sets, I would just hope we can patch any rift with the Maidens themselves. Thanks.

As someone with a sarcastic sense of humor, who likes to be ironic and probably goes too far sometimes, I took no offense to the Realty TV interview at all. I thought "Steve Harris" was being playful and actually kind of funny. I got it. Besides, one had only listen to the accompanying clips to hear that all the songs featured were not B sides and were ones that we play, too. But whatever. As far as I'm concerned, no worries at all.

I didn't agree with him He was just doing his schtict. You're taking this way too seriously it was all in fun. There was a part where I told 'em not to talk shit about the Maidens becaue they're my freinds but I didn't include that when I was editing it. They were just trying to be funny not serious at all. They're cool guys. They didn't play anything too obscure that night. It was a long set too. they did do "Stranger in a Strange Land" & "Another Life" but nothing real obscure. They're good!

Stranger in a Strange Land. That is awesome. Have the Stupid Maidens done that song? I'm not sure. I sure would love to hear the Stupid Maidens do it though. "No Brave new world..." Also, I love the guitar solo in that song. Great solo! Starts off somewhat un-Iron Maiden-like.
