Miami-based melodic/tech death metallers SILENMARA will be hitting the road with state-mates WIRETHRONE for a southeastern US regional tour this coming March!

If you're a metal fan and live in those areas, you won't want to miss this!

Hailing from Miami, Florida, SILENMARA is Intromental's newest addition to an already impressive cast. Often regarded as "the most Swedish-sounding band from America," SILENMARA combines the best aspects of the two most iconic death metal schools in the world; the melodic flairs of Sweden's Gothenburg-style and the brutal aggression found in the notorious Florida-style of American Death Metal.

Founded in the summer of 2008 by guitarist Jason Gato and drummer Adrian Perez, SILENMARA has established themselves as one of the most energetic and crushing live bands in the whole state of Florida. The band's formula, built on fusing elements of some of their favorite bands, while never compromising their ability to deliver it live, has worked quite well for the band. The addition of Reggie Miller on vocals, Paul Casas on guitar and Alex Rivero on bass only solidified their plans of becoming a staple in the genre. The release of their first full length record came in 2011. The quintet joined producer Santiago Dobles, known for his work with legends such as DEATH, CYNIC and AGHORA and Tony Choy (ATHEIST, PESTILENCE, CYNIC) at Area 305 Studio and recorded "Collection of Conscience", which generated outstanding reviews and helped put the band on the map. Dobles also registered his own guest appearance on the album, in the crushing opener "Delerium Tremens," one of the most explosive tracks of the whole album. "Collection of Conscience" features seven of the finest melodic death metal anthems ever registered by an American melodic-death metal band.

"We've always strived to find the perfect balance between brutality and melody," says founder Jason Gato. Our influences are vast and that reflects in our music. I can't wait for people to hear our next record. It's certainly going to turn some heads and get SILENMARA's name out there."

2012 finds SILENMARA approaching the next phase in their career. After sharing the stage with renowned bands such as ATHEIST, THE ASBENCE, SKELENTONWITCH and HAVOK, the band has signed with Intromental for worldwide management and booking, and are beginning pre-production on their sophomore release. Fans of SCAR SYMMETRY, MERCENARY, KILLSWITCH ENGAGE and SOILWORK beware. SILENMARA are here to stay.

I would have thought, especially given the font, that second band was called Werethrone, with it being a reference to werewolves.

Wirethrone was formed in Lakeland, Florida in late 2011 by Trey Hawkins, James Harper, Steven Behr, and Josh Delgado. While originally searching for a bassist, Tim Darby was added as third guitar position and contributed more harmonies and leads to the almost completed song catalogue. While still lacking a bassist, Wirethrone began playing shows in the Orlando and Tampa areas by opening for the German Progressive death metal band Obscura with great success and reception for fellow musicians and crowds alike. After many shows and discussions of a debut album, Taylor Halpin was added to the bass position and thus Wirethrone was complete. However, soon before entering the studio, Seven Behr parted ways and was replaced by Kris Huffman, who would make the debut lineup.
Seeking to combine elements of Gothernburg and modern melodic death metal roots with progressive elements, Wirethrone entered Revelation Studios in June 2012. The group worked with producer Matt Johnson of The Autumn Offering fame to record the first full length album entitled “The Sun Betrays Us To the Night;” a concept album dealing with loss, sanity, and defining realities. With the album completed and pending release, Wirethrone is looking for labels and tours to make a mark on the metal world.

, that Wirethrone track is nice. Do they take their name from the Solution .45 track of the same name? Sounds like they've got exactly that influence.

Not entirely sure how I feel about Silenmara. They do sound like they've got definite promise with maturity.
