I happened accross this on the musician's forum. It has a guitar and bass solo at the start that is quite good (and I am not a fan of solos typically.) This video put Angra back into my mind. They are such a talented band that seems to get overlooked too much. They really do a good cover of this Maiden classic. In fact, I bet our Maiden fans here will approve.

That's on a DVD that came with Rebirth or Temple of Shadows -- can't remember which, offhand. It's a pretty cool DVD especially since it was a freebie that came with the CD.

Yeah they played that cover every night during the Rebirth tour, thus it ended on the live record/DVD.
They also did "Raining Blood" on the Temple of Shadows tour...

Not my version

Besides that is IMO the weakest Angra album so far.

Wheezer, it is the Temple of Shadows cd.

IMO, the cover is OK. Once someone forgets the lyrics to 2 different verses in one of the most popular metal songs ever, I get a little annoyed with it. It started out ok and he even sounds more like Bruce than most, but learn the lyrics.

My jaw dropped during the 2nd Kiko solo in that duel!! OMG.

Wyvern.... I live in the US (as well you know,) but I don't forget what luxury I have in ordering CDs etc. I feel like any release in the US, should be available anywhere in the world.

did not know this, will search now.
I have the official DVD, but would have preferred one of the many classic angra hits instead of a maiden cover.

As far as the musicianship of Angra (all of them) they are sadly overlooked. They are one of the most talented bands musicianship wise top to bottom as there is.
