ANGUS McSIX Releases New Single "6666"; Official Music Video Streaming

"... True to the motto #onebetter, Angus McSix won’t settle for 666 — no, it has to be “6666”. The new song includes everything that made the album 'Angus McSix And The Sword Of Power' the most successful power metal debut of 2023, skyrocketing to number 10 on the Official German Album Charts, as well as a few surprises...

At their start, Prince Angus McSix (Thomas Winkler / ex-Gloryhammer) is overwhelmed by the dark Seebulon (Sebastian "Seeb" Levermann / Orden Ogan) and a horde of orcs. He is frozen and taken to an unknown location somewhere in space and time. Telepathically, he manages to call his brother Adam for help before his voice fades into eternity. Adam hears him and sets off immediately. Although he doesn’t know where Angus is, he knows he can locate him with the power of the six Sixtus Stellar Superlords.

And so, Thomas Winkler, who is now stepping back to spend more time with his family, passes the sword to exceptional vocalist Sam Nyman (Manimal).

“It was a tough decision to go down this path, and even harder to find a suitable singer”, explains Winkler. “But Seeb and I created such an amazing project with Angus McSix that we didn’t want to let it die. I’m glad we found Sam and am absolutely thrilled with his vocal performance."

“You can’t replace a Thomas Winkler, which is why we didn’t search for the next 'Angus.' Sam brings his own style, so he needed his own character: Prince Adam McSix,” explains Seeb.

With its new lineup, Angus McSix have created an absolute hit track that is now already released as the first single from the upcoming, yet untitled album. Watch the official video For “6666”..."

ANGUS McSIX Unveils New Single “I Am Adam McSix” Feat. RHAPSODY OF FIRE + ALEX KRULL; Music Video

"... Angus McSix reveals the epic new single, “I Am Adam McSix”, cut from the band’s upcoming sophomore album, Angus McSix And The All-Seeing Astral Eye, out March 13 via Napalm Records.

The track gives the band’s new main character, Angus McSix’s brother Adam McSix, space to introduce himself, with his heroism further praised by a feature from Italian symphonic power metal pioneers Rhapsody Of Fire. Also, Alex Krull (Leaves Eyes, Atrocity) makes an appearance in the official music video as the Screaming Cauldron. Angus McSix is ready to conquer, wielding the power of metal as their mighty weapon!

Now available to pre-order, Angus McSix And The All-Seeing Astral Eye is an exciting passing of the torch—and a worthy follow-up to Angus McSix’s chart-storming 2023 debut album, Angus McSix and the Sword of Power, that instantly rose to the top 10 of the German Album charts.

Angus McSix on “I Am Adam McSix” (feat. Rhapsody Of Fire):
The song gives Adam the chance to explain in his own words what sets him apart from Angus. He never wanted to be the shining hero – he has simply seen too much of a world that keeps disappointing him. Glory and heroics no longer mean anything to him. Why should he help those who will only betray him in the end?

In the ‘Screaming Cauldron’, the storylines of Angus McSix and Rhapsody of Fire intertwine for the first time, also featuring none other than Alex Krull, who not only performs the Screaming Cauldron but also lends it his unmistakable shouts. On his journey, Adam encounters the Adventurer (Giacomo Voli, Rhapsody Of Fire) and Vision (Alex Staropoli, Rhapsody Of Fire), with the former ultimately handing him the legendary ‘Rain of Fury’ sword for their shared quest.

The eleven tracks of Angus McSix And The All-Seeing Astral Eye feature the band’s one-of-a-kind storytelling, proving even more epic, absurd, and magnificent than ever. Previously released “6666” still features their now-imprisoned frontman Angus McSix (Thomas Winkler) on vocals, passing the torch to Adam McSix and placing nothing less than the fate of the universe on his shoulders. “The Fire Of Yore” bridges the gap between Manowar, Modern Talking, and Electric Callboy and fully opens up the new chapter – Angus, after all, possesses no memory of his previous adventures, leaving all the more room for more lore to be introduced through Adam. Angus McSix gain further help on their quest from a cappella group Van Canto on “Dig Down” and Finnish Turmion Kätilöt on “Techno Men”. “Ork Zero”, referencing their monstrous drummer (Gerit Lamm, ex-Xandria), and “Starlight Stronghold” are electrifying disco bangers, while “Let The Search Begin” – following instrumental break “Aetheriyja” – is another true metal hymn. “The Power Of Metal” adds Freedom Call to the party before the mighty heroes take their final stand in “Into Battle”.

Charmingly quizzical and undeniably entertaining, Angus McSix And The All-Seeing Astral Eye crafts one catchy anthem after another. With rich storytelling and over-the-top pathos, Angus McSix invite you to pick up a sword and fight side by side with them against ancient powers to fulfill Adam’s destiny!....Pre-order here."
