After you d/l it, you won't want to buy it. It is awful. Jeff totally screwed up the guitar sound; it sounds like shit.

I totally agree! The guitar sound is bad, it has this crunchy weird sound.
I thought Jeff knew better.
I do not know when they will tour the US but I deffinately know when they will be in Spain =) July 26th-27th 2002 at Rock Machina =D

Yep, I'm spanish, hehehe. I really love the "Set The World on Fire" Annihilator's album, and I didn't get the new one yet. But I think Waters is still at the vocals and I don't like specially his voice.
Anyway, dunno if I can assist to this new edition of Rock Machina, I was at its two first editions and they were memorable days, specially the second one. Annihilator, Rage, Savatage, The Gathering, Sodom and more great bands will be there, and hope me too!!

Joe Comeau does the vox on the last 2 CDs. The guy from Alice In Hell did the one before those (Criteria for a Black Widow).
Too bad people are quick to judge. Yes the guitar sound is different and I did not like it too. But if you give it a chance you will find that "Waking The Fury" is a great thrash album.

I already listened to the whole thing twice and several songs a couple more times. It still sucks. I always give each CD due listen before forming an opinion.
It happens Jim. Musical taste is very personal. I hardly ever debate it. Do you dislike the songs or just the sound? Giving what you write I would say the songs, but it's not totally clear to me.
It took me quite a while to like or get used to the sound. Now I don't even notice it anymore.

I didn't read it as an attack, necessarily, but I felt like you were pre-judging me based on my lack of providing detail. I dislike the sound mostly, but the songs are kind of boring, too. To me, it sounds like Refresh the Demon and King of the Kill with a horrible guitar sound. I love thrash. I grew up on Testament, Overkill, Forbidden, Exodus, etc. Forbidden is my favorite group ever. As for Annihilator, I like the first 2, then Remains through Carnival Diablos. I didn't like the middle ones 'cause they just seemed like rehashed stuff.
All I can say is that I never meant it that way. Sorry if it came over like that.
