another guitar tone help thread (5150)

hi
i recently purchased a 5150 combo and have been trying with tones for a couple weeks now
this is the best i have suceeded with so far
i basically have the same problem as nwright in his thread http://www.ultimatemetal.com/forum/rate-my-mix-tone-threads/312286-guitar-tones-help.html
the chain was simply
81 Bridge> 5150 Combo > sm57
would a tube screamer help in this situation?
any advice is greatly appreciated

turn your resonance or bass down alittle. mess with the presence too.

after re-EQing the 2nd clip a bit, i think i have a reasonable tone now
