Another Mixed Success (deathmetal/deathcore)

Hi,

Would REALLY appreciate some feedback on my latest tune and the mix!
Please let me know what you think is alright and what could be improved!

So, the low end it's lacking, you need to make it more defined. Also the snare seems a bit odd to me, it should have more body. And ( i'm also kinda new to this mixing bussiness, so it may be difficult to me to explain something ), the whole mix seems disconnected. It needs more work. Sorry if i cant be more specific, there's some stuff i cant describe

Well, i think it sounds a little better. I think that what you need to do it's to turn up the guitars, really getting them ripping. Maybe recording again the guitars using different amp settings, or playing more "hardly", wouldn't be a bad idea. And the same with the vocals. They should be more present. i like the music, but i think that the perfomance it's not the best.

to me it sounds quite good. maybe you should make the guitars a little more in your face, but i am not sure.
for me the low end sounds very airy, it feels like the kick and bass arent working perfect together

aviel, thanks for your input. I do struggle with low end (and low mids) and find it really difficult to create definition without loosing the 'ompf'...

i suggest that you try adding some beef in the upper low end maybe? of the kick or something? i am not sure though
