I heard on the radio in the Twin Ciites this morning...annual radio station fest.

Riverfest @ Floatrite Ampitheatre, Somerset, WI
Friday - Saturday may 28-29, 2004

Scheduled bands (subject to change):
Friday: Sevendust * Soil * Cold * Atomship * Apt 26 * more TBA
Saturday: Twisted Sister * Papa Roach * Anthrax * The Burden Brothers * more TBA

Damageplan is mentioned on the radio station site but not on ticketmaster.

Anthrax is playing Chicago Heights on May 28, and they play this event on May 29.

Hmm...go to the show Friday night. Hop in the car for 7 hours. Stop off at the Leinie's brewery. Then go to the show Saturday. Theoretically, it could be done. Plus, I have kinfolk in and about the Twin Cities that could put me up for the night. **rubs hands together manically** Yes..a plan is forming.

They're Anthrax, they can do anything. Now we know their superhero abilities. Playing to concerts same night, in 2 different cities.

Lucky midwest people. How about a couple Northwest dates, hit Spokane, Bellingham, Seattle, Tacoma, Portland, Salem, and then Eugene. That'd be tight.
 
This is definitely do-able. I could see 'Thrax for my birthday two years in a row. And to think before today, my dumb ass thought Somerset, WI was 4 more hours away and near Milwaukee. Then I find out its in the Twin Cities area. Much Better!
 
Yea I heard something about this the other night when I was in the cities. Sounds like a good time. Only 2 hours away, well worth it. This will make three times now in the last year. What the hell? How did I get so lucky all of a sudden?
