I turned the gain up quite a bit for this one, sounds MUCH thicker and chunkier. I've been recording ( and playing live!! ) with TOO LITTLE GAIN!! What kind of a shitty metal guitarist am I :lol

Same as all my clips recently. Right side is ESP Horizon, left is Edwards. ENGL e530 and Marshall JMP-1 layered, through VHT 2/90/2, Avatar 412 with CL80, and Sennheiser e906.

I rather like this guitar tone. Rather reminds me of 'Extreme Aggression' Kreator. In regards to the 'bottom end' comment above, was this clip recorded with any bass guitar? Having a bass track would fill that little hole. I think the guitar tone sounds great for what it is, but without a bass track it does sound a little empty. Maybe punch in a bit more low end, see how it turns out in a situation like this.

Yeah, just basically needs something down there. Does sound pretty thrash, although more dense, distorted, and ballsy than Extreme Aggression.
