Shed My Skin has uploaded video footage of ANTHRAX frontman Joey Belladonna's Syracuse, New York-based power trio CHIEF BIG WAY — in which he plays drums and sings — performing the BLACK SABBATH classic "Heaven And Hell" in January 2014 at the Tavern At The Bay in Central Square i, New York. Check it out below. In a 2010 interview with Tricia Weight, Joey stated about CHIEF BIG WAY, "We're doing all 'old school' shit — like LED ZEPPELIN and RUSH and JOURNEY and FOREIGNER and BAD COMPANY and THE WHO and BOSTON and PINK FLOYD and all that stuff." When asked if singing those different styles of music in his side projects was good for him, almost acting like "exercises" to keep his vocals in shape, Belladonna said, "Yeah, it [is]. I mean, now I've got more projects than I've ever had. Even at home I sing to records, that's how I learned to do it anyhow, I used to pull out the coolest records and sing to 'em all day long, before I went out [on stage]. And I do it now, even [on the way] to the gig. If we've got an hour drive tonight — I'm rocking the stuff on the iPod all the way there!" Speaking to Legendary Rock Interviews in January 2012, Belladonna said about performing much smaller venues with CHIEF BIG WAY than he does with ANTHRAX: "Obviously, it's a blast that ANTHRAX is operating on such a high level and it's fun to play those really big gigs but I do get the exact same sensation and enjoy performing no matter how big the audience is. I do everything I do on a pretty even keel, it's not like I put more effort into one thing than another, so I just enjoy playing music no matter the setting. If anything, ANTHRAX is even easier to focus on as a result of doing this on the weekends because in ANTHRAX I will sing an hour and a half and the other weekend I think I sang four hours straight with my cover band. We probably did sixty songs [laughs] and I don't have to do that, but I like to, it's better than going and sitting at the bar for an hour. Those weekends singing are a pretty big chunk, as is an hour and a half of singing ANTHRAX. I just try to put everything I have into it no matter what I do."
