anthrax was in the simpsons tonight...

You can't expect to win at trivial pursuit unless you've seen Casablanca. It's one of those movies that are referenced all over the place. Kind of like Deliverance....

Never seen Casablanca.
I was just coming here to post that Anthrax was on the Simpson's too. Damn you East Coast people. jk. The first episode I didn't think was that funny. The 2nd one was alright. There've been better Simpson's then those 2. Oh well. They're allowed to slack off once in awhile.
Anthrax was mentioned in Robin Williams "Live on Broadway" too. The disease anyways. He talked about it when the drug sniffing dogs were sniffing for it at the winter olympics in Salt Lake. He also talked about the disease when talking about Keith Richards.
*sniff* "Anthrax...alriiiight...doesn't go with my ecola..."

Instead of being "insulted" you should think "damn, maybe I should see Casablanca. It is a classic w/out many peers. The problem w/ alot of the people in metal community (and I do not mean you) is that their idea of broadening their horizons, is finding a bands early demo tapes.

Casablanca... the Butterfinger bar... michael jackson and the baby over the ledge...

but my favorite was the Goldman Sachs reference... I was out of the room, but my girlfriend played it back for me later.

The reason I love it so much is because they are the one Wall St. firm that is so wrapped up in its image of integrity... meanwhile all these stories of malfeasance are cropping up. Like the one on 60 minutes last week.

Of course, the fact I'm quitting there on Tuesday brings a smile to my face.

I never saw it but I heard they once put Maggie in the Ayn Rand daycare center where there were posters on the wall of "Non-Contradiction," "Either-Or" and "A is A," which were Aristotle's principles that Ayn Rand used to divide her book Atlas Shrugged into thirds. Since that's my favorite book, I'd say that have to be my favorite reference.
I also like the Twin Peaks references.
