Canadian cult metal act ANVIL is partnering with PledgeMusic yet again. Following their last successful campaign, the group is inviting fans to be a part of their forthcoming album, "Pounding The Pavement". The new campaign will bring back several popular items to the PledgeMusic platform, plus new and exciting options and opportunities just for ANVIL fans. "Pounding The Pavement" is slated to release in early 2018. Pledgers can pre-order the album now on ANVIL's campaign page. The leaders in direct-to-fan platforms, PledgeMusic allows artists to get more personal with their fans, offering pledgers updates straight from the band and items not available anywhere else. Recording of the new album will begin in Germany this August. ANVIL's seventeenth studio album, "Pounding The Pavement" marks forty years of the band's illustrious career. The band is also celebrating their history with the Netflix release of the ANVIL movie "Anvil! The Story of Anvil". "'More' is what life is about," says Steve "Lips" Kudlow of ANVIL. "We all want it, crave it, work for it, demand it... so here comes more of ANVIL!" Fans who pre-order via PledgeMusic will get the AccessPass, which will give them early access to digital downloads, artist updates, and more. Pledgers will also be able to pledge on exclusive merchandise and experiences direct from the band. These include: a signed CD; your name in the "Pounding The Pavement" liner notes; a handwritten lyric sheet to the song of your choice; a private viewing of Robb Reiner's art collection with the artist himself; a one-hour drum lesson with Reiner via Skype; a Skype guitar lesson with Lips; the opportunity to be a roadie for a day with the band on their U.S. Or European tour; drumsticks signed by Robb; the chance to sing backup on a track on the new album; dinner with the band; and much more.
