The show is great, and Paul Jr is a very talented craftsman, along with Vinnie, and the other guys. But I prefer the work that comes out of West Coast Choppers. Jesse James and the crew from WCC beats the American Chopper guys hands down when it comes to custom Choppers.

I love this show....

It was cool in the beginning like many "reality" shows, but like the Osbournes, it seemed contrived after it gained popularity...there has to be some subconscious thought that you need to be entertaining and that seems to retract from the "reality".

OCC uses more off the shelf parts, most of the time, so I agree with you there.
Both shops make some extremely cool shit, but JJ starts with a more unique frame and can fabricate anything. OCC also farms more work out to other shops.

I agree...OCC seems to send everything out, besides the custom shit that Paulie, and crew do. They send out for engines, paint, rims(they might do their own now NOT SURE) stuff like that, while JJ does all in house. They ,both OCC and WCC have amazing talent that I will never rag on, I just prefer JJ. But I like the show American Chopper.
