hahaha, i played sometime last year and it's pretty rad... would like to see where it's at now. has the arma-based beta been pretty much abandoned since the standalone version was announced?

Seriously though DayZ was cool for a month or two, it's a shadow of what it used to be or at least was when I last played it.

im a pretty new player, i think its pretty awesome, apart from 90% of the game is running in the woods

Couldn't get into the animations and the zombies are not scary at all. It was neat for a bit, but like already stated, it's just walking around.

I think the zombies aren't really scary, but the prospect of quite easily being able to die and lose all your progress is, for some people.
