any def leppard fans on this board?

Not a fan at all. They talk to much shit the singer said something about Scott Ian and Lemmy saying something like anthrax and motorhead arent metal bands.
And the latest def lepard album is nothing but ballads and pop songs the first single off there latest album reminds me off compleciated by avril lavigne.

When and where did he say that about Scott Ian???? It's not like I'm a fan of anything that Def Leppard has done recently but I just find it hard to believe that he would say such a thing.

Def's latest stuff is basica;lly pop rock and I don't like it....their first 2 albums are very good, especially On through the night....

The first three records were good rock records. Around the time of Hysteria I just got sick of hearing them every second, and I haven't bought anything since Pyro. The first two records are actually albums I'd consider classic though. I wouldn't bother to see them in concert though. Their pop stuff was garbage imho. Some bands do pop well (Cheap Trick, Queen, Alice Cooper, Ramones, KISS, hell even Sabbath in 1976 and 1978) but I though Def Leppard became too "paint by numbers" and sounded like all the other crap in 1988.

I'm with Alex, I doubt they said anything derogatory. Both bands are friends, I remember a photo spread from the Stomp era where the two bands were hanging out. I don't remember if Anthrax went to a Leppard show, if Leppard went to an Anthrax show or if both bands were backstage at some one elses gig. I think it was the latter, but they were having a good time.

pour some sugar on me

one song i could never get sick of,that song actually saved there asses big time on hysteria album,it wasnt until they released that single that the album went fucking huge

funny thing was they didnt realise that they spent so much money on the record that they had to sell 8 million copies to break even lol

it easily surpassed the 8 million mark!

Where the fuck is Vivian Campbell?????

They hire one of the best Guitarists on the planet and then don't let him contribute jack shit......

Vivian, please get the fuck out of there and give us some new Riverdogs material!!!

BTW.....On Through the Night, High & Dry, and Pyromania ARE classic recordings.......good drumming, guitar work and song writing.......after the success of Pyro.......they tried to write pop songs and turned to shit!!!
