any ebay users here?

I've sold a couple of guitars and a few paintings on ebay, oh and a leather sofa. I'd definently say it's a buyers market though, when selling stuff you will hardly ever get near its actual worth. Unless you have a grilled cheese sandwich that looks a bit like Allah :) That shit sells well.

I have been selling on ebay for years. People will buy just about anything. I would be willing to bet, I could take a crap on a pizza box and someone would bid on it on ebay.
Anyway, if you are selling on ebay, good luck! If you are buying, pay attention to their feedback and if the price is too good to be true. It probably is.

Haha, that reminds me, about 6 or 7 years ago my cousin was telling me about eBay. He said he was going to sell used underwear. He said the description would read "Used Fruit of the Loom underwear, only worn about 6 times, slight skid marks on back and a little yellow on the front, but overall great condition."

I hate ebay really... when I buy CDs (most of what I buy online) it's usually from amazon.com sellers... but if I particularly really want a CD and can't find it for a decent price there I will indeed check ebay... though it's usually more expensive

people will price CDs really low on ebay and then charge you 3x the cost of the item you purchased for shipping basically... you'll see a $6 Buy Now for a CD, then you'll check the shipping rate and it's like $12... what the hell is that? sorry but it doesn't cost $12 to ship a damn CD

I fucking hate that too. When I sell cd's I don't charge for shipping.

That's why you go to half.com. They have set prices for the cd and shipping. So if you don't like the price, you don't have to buy it. Half.com is probably the best way to go.

Flippen sweet. I didn't even know about that site. I just got 3 cd's for like $14, and that's including shipping.

i've bought and sold shit on there. i'v never got ripped off yet. a kid i worked with bought a "rare" disturbed lyrics book. the guy had all kinds of "rare" lyrics books for sale. when he got it (for about 20 bucks) it was some shitty thing the dude made at kinkos. then the guy disapered off ebay

I've been buying and selling for years. Selling, no problems. Buying, a few here and there, like getting a bootleg copy of something, or the Russian edition of Hell Awaits (looks official, has Metal Blade on it, with the Russian distributor's name in Cyrillic, and in big letters: DO NOT SELL OUTSIDE OF RUSSIA AND UKRAINE. The seller is listed as "United States".). ALWAYS look at the seller's feedback.

I've been buying some vintage death metal, because Ebay is almost the only place to find this out-of-print stuff that has been re-issued and remastered
