any good reverb impulses for guitar and drums@

I find IR verbs very boring because they are a static snapshot.
A very mild modulation on the return can help a lot.
The previously mentioned Bricasti IRs are very good.
But... Valhalla Vintage Verb rules.
I use it on everything and it always sounds amazing.
It sits in the mix brilliantly and sounds like the sound is in the space rather than the sound with reverb on it.

But rooms react linear. Doesn't matter what volume goes in them the response is the same.
I also don't think reverb plugins react different depending on the volume that goes into them.
I guess it's more of a mind thing to call IRs sounding static
Still like the Valhalla plugin though

Nah, the decay on an IR is way different than a real room and sounds weird to me. I use algo reverbs exclusively because of that.

Another vote for the Valhalla stuff. Stupidly good regardless of price.

When I say static I don't mean the volume.
I mean there is no movement in the reverbed sound.
I understand that a real room doesn't really modulate (apart from sound waves colliding with other waves)
By modulation I mean subtle changes in pitch and stereo field and slight modulation of predelays etc that the best algorithmic reverbs tend to employ.
I have several IR libraries by Acousticas (now out of business) and they always recommended adding subtle modulation on the return to address this.
They even provided modulation presets for Logic.
