Hey guys,
If there are any San Diego folks here, just wanted to pass on that my band (Wooden Badger) is playing its first gig next Thurs.! (May 27th) It's sort of a warm up gig in a small dive bar. Should be lots of fun! It'd be cool to meet some of you, and it'd be REALLY cool to have some people in the audience who actually listen to our kind of music! And there's the fact that in order to get better gigs we really need to make a good showing! Isn't it sad that a band's success when they're first starting is based more on how much BEER they can sell for the owner, than originality, musicianship etc....ah the plight of the prog musician :lol

I can't really see us playing some of the all ages venues ethier....most folks you age hate our kind of music!
