Any word on Phil Lynott biopic?

just wondering if anyone has heard anything more on a buzz floating around here in the U.S.A. about Phil Lynott bio-pic starring Gary Dourdan of C.S.I.(original show based in Las Vegas,NV U.S.A.)!?????

i am a big fan of Thin Lizzy and most everything his longtime friend and sometime guitar player Gary Moore has ever recorded!

i like alot of Rn'R biopics-even cheesy ones

i even liked Hendrix starring Wood Lee!? released in 2000

Oh that's a long ago talked project I was waiting for. Gary was picked not only for his looks but also because supposedly the guy plays several instruments and thus as a musician was a good choice.

But after the fall from grace from CSI due to drugs involvement I never heard again about the project and him, or the project at all for that matter.

I still would like a proper movie/biopic of Phil Lynott with the whole support of his mother and former members of the band.
