Anyone care Matt Barlow left Iced Earth again?

Indeed it is. Iced Earth is one of my favorite bands. I was fortunate enough to see them in NYC last year and then meet them after the show. It was such a killer show and they were super nice guys. There will only be one Matt Barlow.

lets see if IE is smart and hires the guy that has already replaced Barlow in another band and would be a GREAT addition to the band

Maybe? I know he is in Pyramaze and all. I actually don't know what he sounds like. I'll check him out.

Lost BIG respect for IE after the way Ripper was shafted out of the band. Don't care tbh. Last few albums were mediocere at best.

Glad I saw IE with Barlow 2 times over the last few years in that case...guess he won't come back again another time, but who knows, also the last departure seemed to be pretty "forever".
Would be cool to see them live with Ripper once, but I doubt that will ever happen
Keen to hear who they will hire.
Barlow will always be my fav IE singer, and one of my favs in general.
Just a pitty that non of the new stuff with barlow really slayed :/

The last albuns suck anyway. Iced Earth died after Horror Show. But that band Bloodbound sounds really good, the intro smells like Maiden.

Glorious Burden is also nice imo, and that mostly because of Ripper...that album wouldnt have been possible with Barlow...but yeah, anything after that didn't really slay
Urban Breed stuff sounds cool.

About Barlow, I think HE is the voice of Iced Earth.
I was an IE fan before he entered the band but with him the best albums were released.

They equally ripoff In Flames and Helloween as well!
I'm not kidding, there is at least one tune that is a carbon copy of "Eagle Fly Free" and one that is definitely scraping from "Cloud Connected" ... however, that was kinda the purpose of that 1st album ... paying tribute to all the bands they love
Urban is the MAN ... it would be cool to see him land a bigger gig like IE

I do remember a pretty interesting show when George was singing right before Barlow ... vocally it sounded like an extended IE show
