Anyone ever heard or tried APC Pickups?

Interested to know anyones thoughts on these. They come highly recommended by Mike Gilbert of SEVERED SAVIOR. (This is one tough band with a real tough tone!)

Mike says "As the title says, I have recently landed an endorsement with APC pickups (Adder Plus Corporation). These are the EMG replacements I've been looking for.
Passive pickups that have as much if not more output than EMG's, dead quiet, and tone that EMG's wish they could have. I knew as soon as I saw the thread title that Mike's name was gonna come up... I know he loves 'em, I've always wanted to try them but never got around to it.

Yep, might give em a go. Mike reckons that there are 2 depth versions, 1 standard and 1 shallower, not sure what the standards would fit into, but I cant find any info on a 7 stringer, but will probably purchase 1 for my Ibby 6 string.

The Syrinx pup kicks major ass, I have one in my strat. I wonder if it's named after Rush - 2112 ("We are the Priests of the Temples of Syrinx"), cause I can get that guitar sound quite easily with it.
