Anyone from germany

Well, so this isnt amon amarth related, but i might be able to find the answers i need so here we go.

In august i will be spending a year abroad in germany in Frankfurt/main. Now i have never been to europe so i'm a little in the dark about a lot of things. There are basically 2 things i would really like to know. First of all, i was informed that i was going to need to pay for my own internet connection if i wanted one in my dorm room. So basically, how accessable is broadband in that area, and about how much does it cost?

The other one is, since im a guitar player, im bringing my guitar (obviously), and i have two options. I can either get a small little real tiny 2 watt pocket amp here, or if its cheap enough, i can get a small practice amp there and not have to worry about power conversion from the US power outlets. So if anyone can give me an about price on a small little 10 or 15 watt amp that is decent, id also greatly appreciate it.

I can't tell you for sure the prices for i-net access
but I guess its something between 10 and maximal 30
Euro.
Broadband isn't a problem. It depends on the dorm, but
in the most cases(!) its somewhat comparable
to DSL, Cable for the user.
I say for the user 'cuz the connection is routed through
the local LAN.

Amps...I can give you a link for a mailorder. In the
most cases you get better prices there, but you can't
check the sound...

In stores you have to pay around 60-120 bucks.
Thats the price span for non-premium models.
Of course these prices are pending and depend
on the manufacturer of the amp and the store
itself. So comparing prices is recommended.
