anyone going to see testament tomorrow night in london??

err no thanks i'll be by the mixing desk on the left (on those steps) if i can get that space. that was where i was at the thrax gig.
perfect view.
not one for paying money to have idiots push into me. i just dig the music and play air guitar/headbang LOL.
i'll be wearing an "alex skolnick trio t-shirt": so do say hi to me if you see me.
what will you be wearing??

didnt think testament would still have a following in england, anthrax and testament should do a few shows together!!!!!

it would do a great service for anthrax as people that like testament probably put anthrax on the backburner,it would be a good chance for anthrax to prove they are still 1200 percent metal!!!

Max,we ended up upstairs once they finally opened it. Went down the front for NA.Venue was probably 3/4 full which was a pretty good turnout for a Tuesday. Testament were good, not as good as the last time they played London. Nuclear Assault were crap, John Connelly was on another planet. He kept forgetting the words and how to play, collapsing on stage etc. I felt for Danny Lilker, he looked really embarassed. Death Angel were great, never a big fan of them back in the day but they ruled last night. Marduk were entertaining, everything else was pretty average. Good night, not as good as it could have been though.

Yeah, it was horrible. I have never seen anyone that fucked up on stage. He kept collapsing on the drum riser or just walking off stage. If he was ill then full marks for trying to play, if he was intoxicated then he's a wanker. People paid good money to watch that crap, good job Death Angel and Testament could actually be arsed.

metalgod did you go backstage in the end?
i was the skinny guy all in black and short black hair.
i did and got to meet eric and chuck got some CDs signed too.
gig was just ok i thought. shitty sound that prevented it from being way better.
crowd seemed a bit indifferent- i don;t know why.
why venue only 3/4 full?? i know there was little promo but it's sad to see that it wasn't packed out- esp. as there were all those bands.
new album "early next year" chuck said...

Max, I didn't bother with the backstage thing since I was pretty knackered by the end and still had a long drive home to face. I thought the turn-out was pretty good considering it was originally scheduled to be at The Mean Fiddler/LA2. I think the crowd was a bit subdued since it was a mixed audience (Thrash, hardcore, black metal etc) - I enjoyed the old thrash band but thought Marduk were (unintentionally) hilarious. It was good to see everyone go bonkers during Over The Wall though! Are you off to the Bonded By Metal show with Exodus, NA, Carnal Forge etc. in October?

Is Chuck Billy all ok with his health problems - how was he on stage, as he rules.

I think he's got the all clear now, he seemed to be back to his old self as far as his performance went. He had hai extensions but who gives a fuck - he ruled!
