Anyone has any experience of the Audio Technica MB/Dk5 Drum-Microphone Pack?

I always tell people to buy mics individually. buy used.

some places to start off the top of my head

Kick - Audix D6 (metal/hard rock) / shure beta 52 (rock/indie)
Snare - SM57/Audix i5
Toms - e604/md421/sm57/audix i5/e609/cad m179
Overheads - small diaphragm condensors Rode NT5/Otava MK012/MXL 603s

supposedly the CAD M179 is very good on toms and for use as simple overheads

Thanks, yes, as i said im aware of the usual suspects but im interested to know if anyone has used these particular Mics

Get the Shure DMK5752 pack ($80 cheaper than if you buy them separate) and some decent small diaphragm condensers.
More important than any mic selection though, is to know how to actually get a decent miked drum sound.
I'm sure Lord Sneap can use a $300 mic pack and still make it sound great.
By the way, many people on here say Audio Technica mics exceed the performance of other mics in the same price range.
