Looks cool as fuck and sounds kinda like Empyrium from the samples I've heard, but I was wondering if anyone had heard this musical adaptation of the Edda? I can't decide from the samples whether the album as a whole would be worth owning... looking for a bit of a description of the compositions as a whole or something.

...it seems that english text´s will follow, but it´s the typical version of edda texts and local heathen myths. Quite nice. I played with my BM band 7 years ago with them and they made a good viking show on stage (mead, horns) ... Really nice guys...

That track Thanatopsis uploaded sounds pretty much nothing like Empyrium. It was ok, nothing special though.

I'm not hearing the Empyrium comparison. Is it worth owning? Yes..

Matthew G., did you ever get a hold of this fantastic album? I'm spinning it for the third time as we speak. I must have been in a pensive state the past two sittings, as the music drifted aimlessly beyond my grasp. Now here we are, on the third try, and my soul is being gripped by pure skaldic fury. No jolly Eluveifaggotry hurdy gurdy tugjobs to be found here. Just beautifully done guitar driven melodies of medieval worship. From my understanding, they wanted to play HCIII, but couldn't due to Crusader's budget restrictions. What a shame.
