Odd question of the day, anyone here buy/enjoy candle burning (Yankee Candle or equivalent styles).

If so - where do you buy from, how many do you often buy etc. ?

I ask for a reason, but will share afterwards.

I burn palo santo wood as incense when the house smells bad. Stuff works wonders. and is more reusable than a candle (just a tiny corner of a piece of wood burned will spread the smell everywhere).

Ash loves her wax warmers and those melt things. We have 2 cats and a dog so they're preferable to an open flame in our house.

I buy cheap incense from Walmart to keep my room from smelling like dirty laundry. I usually get Dragon's Blood and/or Myrrh.

I burn candles every once in a while. Typically, they're cheap dollar store candles.

inb4 TB discloses his massive candle collection and eclectic taste in aromas.

How exactly do i "RULE" those threads?

That was not my wine collection, neither where the cognacs. You would have known that if you actually bothered reading through the threads instead of letting the hate and turmoil build up as you gazed at those pics ... jealousy is not good for the soul brah. I tell you what ..... if you want, i can ask and see if he's willing to donate any of those bottles. Would that make you feel better?

edit: dont really give a shit about candles.

It's not jealousy  I like good alcohol, so I look at the pictures. I cannot afford good alcohol, have few experiences to relate for the purpose of adding to the discussion, and therefore don't bother reading the discussion. I've already mentioned before that I'm cool with you, so if I make a joke about you, then it's not intended as a personal attack. As I said, it was an innocent jest, in good faith, if you will.

And, sure, I'll take you up on that offer ;)

Eh, I use those shitty Yankee Candle off-brands on occasion. I'm going to grab a Pumpkin Spice smell so I can get all teh basic bitches over. Otherwise, I just buy whatever smells good to mask the constant shitty beer/dirty laundry smell of my apartment.

I have an incense burner as well that I need to get some smells for. Anything that resembles lasagna would be fine.

Candles give my dude a headache, but we sometimes light incense cones. We also have one of those automatic air fresheners, they're actually pretty awesome. Its a nice neutral brown and the cashmere woods scent really compliments our home. It also sounds like an old man groaning then pissing violently, so that cheers one up on a slow weekday.

Definitely have a general preference for earthy/woodsy scents. Had a bonfire scented candle once. Twas tits.

Gotcha, thanks all!

I have some interest in a buddy of mine's candle company (soy based) and was thinking of testing out a line of candles geared towards metal fans. If I decide to do a test I'll post a link :)
