There are probably lots of great bands I don't know yet; does it make sense for us all to make fun of someone who discovers a great band? Anyway, as far as being on the forum, you joined five months ago and are now laying the ground rules?

bands is alright, but the horrible vox kill them for me. I can't listen to ANY thrash metal that inlcudes high pitch/balls in a vice vocals besides maybe Realm and some Watchtower ... that kind of "singing" does not belong in thrash metal.

If you can stand Watchtower, don't see how you can't like Toxik..especially Think This versus World Circus

They sound nothing like Watchtower. World Circus is straight-forward speed/thrash with maybe a little more guitar flash than ordinary, more Agent Steel style if anything. And it's not a remotely good album. Think This is more trad/power/prog than thrash, and still far from the underground masterpiece it's sold as. If anything it's Roadrunner's budget attempt at pumping out something high-gloss and high-minded, hoping for the next Operation: Mindcrime or something but falling quite short. It's still good and pretty diverse, but the tech elements are again more about guitar pyrotechnics than anything, and it's a rare metal album where I think "over-production" actually means something.

They have absolutely nothing on Watchtower or Realm. Not even Damn the Machine or Kinetic Dissent tbh.

Metallica found some serious inspiration in Toxic. I love the song Spontaneous. Great riff. Technical and progressive band, and very talented.

Besides, I take Charles Sabin to James Hetfield any day.
