I like about 5 or so of their discs. Blitz's vocals took some getting used to, but at least he ain't Sean Killian or Steve Souza.

and no doubt, d.d. verni is a magnificient bassist..
I have "years of decay", "under the influence", "w.f.o.", "necroshine", "from underground and below" and "I hear black" albums.
the best ones are years of decay and under the influnce in my opinion.
overkill is a great thrash band but unfortunately most of people don't like them...
I think generally its cause is blitz's vocal style but I like it
I like steve souza, too and I don't match them

These guys certainly arent breaking any new ground, but they've yet try to cash in on whats trendy and lucritive. They are one of very few still playing from back in the day. Recommended listening: Overkill, Feel The Fire, Taking Over and Horrorscope.

Glad to hear Blitz is ok after his stroke last week in Nurenberg.

me either. Nechroshine was their downward fall....here is the latest: As most of you know, Blitz collapsed on stage at a show in Nurmberg and was taken to the hospital by paramedics. After some tests he was diagnosed as having had a minor stroke.

Maybe he should not work on the next album........sorry, just my humble opinion.
