Anyone seen the Mike LePond's solo project announcement?

Mike LePond seems to be working on a solo project called Mike LePond's Silent Assassins - which sounds interesting so far! The album has Metal Mike (Halford, Testament) on lead guitar and Alan Tecchio (Watchtower) on vocals! Can't wait to hear what it sounds like and seems like they're well under way on the recording side of things.

He got past the goal by 4k$ so far, I hope that's enough to do his promotion and stuff.. can't wait to listen to his compositions. He seems to have that drive about stuff like mythology and all, which is what I like in Symphony X.

This is insanely more interesting than a "collab" album IMO.

yeah i wonder how good the album will be. has a release date been announced?

*edit* i see that he's aiming to release it sometime before march 2014
