I figured this song is at a point where it's ready for critique. It's long, but I figure that's par for the coarse.

Wow, great song and mix. I didn't give much attention to the mix thought when I listened it the first time because the composition is awesome.

As far as on the mix side, I did almost nothing to the guitars. I think I did a high pass filter. The actual numbers of that would be almost useless in another mix because it would depend on how all the other instruments sound.

As far as all the tone sculpting stuff goes, it was done on the axeFX side. I have no idea what settings he used.

Seriously though, very awesome song and mix as well.
I would suggest a little more parallel compression on the drums to make 'em a little bit fatter, and throw a tape emulator on the master buss just to glue them together a little bit more, it kinda lacks depth and punch, but maybe that's suited to this style.

yeah, the drums were a tough one for me to mix in this song. It seemed that every time I tried to fatten them up even a little, they ended up crowding the mix. There was a lot going on and it was hard to keep it all under control. I may go back and take another crack at it after letting it settle a bit.

I would boost the toms to be similar level as the snare, they are getting lost here. and there could be too much reverb on the vocals and snare (that feedback is fine on the slow parts but distracting on the faster ones e.g. at 4:10). otherwise like the stuff
