This is pretty funny. I've had a couple of "Genius Bar" appointments and the list of truly hilarious things in the Apple store is amazing.
#1 Tragically hip(ster) staff. "Nice Utilikilt" "Wow, nice solid black square tattoos"
#2 Parents that have dropped their children off at the store using the computers as a form of daycare.
#3 No sales counter anymore so people wonder around trying to desperately to find someone to pay for their goods (but all the staffers are busy acting as friend bar associates).

That said, applecare and the genius bar provide hands down the best warranty support of anything I've ever owned. It isn't even close.

We took our 13" iBook from 2004 in, along with my wife's 2nd gen iPod and the staffers were completely stupefied. Employees gathered around us to look at our antique hardware, then chuckled when we asked about replacement parts. "Have you tried Ebay?"
