A friend of mine composed an ambient piece a few weeks ago and finally got around to putting it online. It sounds like a cross between the newest Fripp & Eno ("Equatorial Stars") and some of the early-mid era Tangerine Dream ("Rubycon" and "Stratosfear"). I really recommend a download if you enjoy any of the lighter sides of the above groups.
