I got the new 2 DVD set and love it, but I have just a couple of nagging questions...first - why would they release a 2004 show in 2006 (almost 2007) and why not release the entire 2005 Manchester show on DVD that was actually shot in high-definition?

If I were them (and I am not) I would have released either both as DVD or the 2004 show as a live album and the 2005 show as the DVD. So - I wonder if they are planning to release anymore of the Manchester 2005 show like in live album form or possibly HD-DVD/Blue Ray or whatever?

Any thoughts?

Thanks for reading and for any replies/opinions!!

the skank is ugly and can't sing, but I wanna pee in her butt ASAP!

liiva was 10x the vocalist, sucks he wasn't born with a twat.

Strange. I think Arch Enemy is awesome with Angela. The DVD didn't interest me too much because of its lack of "Doomsday Machine" material. I perfer that album over Anthems of Rebellion.

I fuckin love Arch Enemy! I've thought about buying the DVD but I generally don't have time to watch movies. Great production, outstanding guitar work, a sexy female vocalist that pummels your ass to the ground like it's her mission to destroy the earth with her cords...Plus they all seem to have great attitudes and are simply all about metal. Can't wait for the next album! :kickass:

Not my favorite band but they have a couple killer songs. I'm not too familiar with the Johan albums.

DVD Setlist?

All would be forgiven if from now on half their sets are Carcass songs.

Ha ha, indeed. Don't get me wrong, I love that instrumental song of theirs that kicks off their latest album. But the rest of their catalogue is just completely MEH in massive capital letters. :zombie:

I actually think they have a Carcass sound in them. i like a few good tracks of Arch Enemy, from the Gossow era of course. Liiva was a big joke IMHO.

Alas, that's dolt-ish. Any fool knows that the first three AE albums do a rather hefty, undiginified shit over the rather watered down and increasingly insipid final three.

Actually, their six albums are like the Star Wars franchise.

(Except of course that the last album wasn't a minor return to form.)
