Archaic Metallurgy, the metal music webzine has been polluting metal world since 1998. Mainly the writs have been record reviews. Why? Because that's what I do myself: buy a lot of metal records all the time and seek information and reviews on net every day. I wanted to give my own opinions.
New version on is now online (October 2004): database for metal bands, albums, people even. Nothing special generally, but for AM it is. My friend's been building the database, I've been building everything else. Even though I'm unemployed, I have no enough time, since the metal world is so wide! And therefore...
Archaic Metallurgy is looking for staff! Writers of course. Reviews, interviews, articles, all things METAL is the stuff. ALL METAL, no compromises. There's also adding records to databases, songs to them etc... Adding band pictures, logos, covers... It's not just writing, if you want to do something else, too.
We can't pay anything for the writings, but you can always demand promotional material from record labels. This is all based on metal music being a hobby anyways!!!
So, if you think you want to put some words on paper (or rather on data form), please contact AM at lane@archaicmetallurgy.comREMOVE . You can send a short "story" about yourself, maybe a review or something like that too. We won't publish them without your permission and of course we contact you back before such things.
