Dagon first gained public awareness with his former controversial band, Society 1 (fronted by Hollywood extremist Matt Zane), in June of 2002 upon the release of a record breaking music/suspension video that successfully drew vast media coverage from all over the world. Over the next year-and-a-half, Dagon's career quickly catapulted from jamming in local LA clubs to extensive national touring in 2003. He has appeared in almost every national and regional magazine with video rotation on Fuse, MTV Australia/Europe and many other music video video stations world-wide. He has also represented Pro-Mark drumsticks in Modern Drummer, Drum!, and Revolver Magazines along with a featured presence on Pearl Drums' website.
Dagon comments, "Rhythm and sound have always intrigued me. Kepler discovered that all things in motion exert pitch; therefore, the universe is in a kind of everlasting harmony. I feel that rhythm is just universal order incarnate. It is an equation of life and music as they cannot exist without one another."
Throughout the years, Dagon has collaborated with underground thrash metal bands, jammed with funkadelic/latin groups, played in musicals, and has even performed with orchestral ensembles and jazz combos. With his recent liberation from Society 1, his plans have yet to be revealed.
