Arcturus is legit

Really getting into these Arcturus guys. Very baroque, but also extremely atmospheric...almost like dark ambient I'd say, the way everything is so fast it flows together. Thoughts/recommendations?

Aside: it's rather telling that the youtube commenters on these aren't a bunch of random trolls. Seems to scale well with the sophistication of the music in a lot of cases .

One of my favorite albums recently, love the shit out of it. Besides that it's nice thick and bassy sounding too. I bought it at FYE used.

The Sham Mirrors is one of my favorite albums as well, and the two adjacent albums are also really good. As far as recommendations, Vulture Industries is always recommended for the La Masquerade Infernale side of things, but they're pretty clone-y and not nearly as good.
