Guys, Lawrence is NOT a hick town. Lawrence is a college town, the University of Kansas. Almost 1/3rd of its population are college students. Lawrence is despised throughout Kansas for its politically liberal population. In other words, hicks hate Lawrence. Don't get me wrong, I hate the rest of Kansas....

I saw Opeth here in October, and the crowd loved them. I was extremely disappointed that they aren't returning, especially since they did say they would be back in February.

So instead, I picked the closest city Opeth is passing through, Tulsa OK.

I dunno, I used distortion on a grim fart I recorded and it sounded a bit better than Mike's death growls. The problem is I can't make it talk but its good for short bursts and sometimes the long growls.
