are these monitors any good ?

I know it's novel for you guys to speak in your native tongue - I appreciate that, but if you confine it to English (which is what UM is universally) other people can latch onto statements made and contribute their own bits of info onto what's already there. It just makes it a lot easier for the conversation to progress and further statements to be made.

About the 'M-audio' monitors: I would presume they're not talked about, or used often because they aren't good mixing tools. M-audio are generally known for their affordable entry-level interfaces, and none of their gear is 'spectacular' by any means. I've been saying it for a while, but if you can get a pair of Mann PMA6 monitors, you'll be set. I bought a set and it didn't break the bank to boot. I'm getting used to mixing on them and things are great... they have good imaging and response, aside from a slight raise in the highs, which can be compensated for easily enough.

* i asked him what are good monitors for a good value

I find the smaller-coned M-Audios to be completely lacking in bass, although I haven't tried the Studio Pro series, only the BX series. The 8" ones were the only ones with a decent full-range response, although the stereo imaging wasn't too good and they sounded kinda tinny and metallic. For the money, I haven't seen a better deal than Event TR6Ns. They retail at $400 for a pair, but you can probably get a better deal than that (I got mine as demo models at Guitar Center for $278 total). Not much deeeeeeeep bass, but enough that you can tell how it's going to sound on other systems once you get used to how they sound. And it doesn't take much getting used to. Pretty flat frequency response, nice airy highs, excellent transient response which makes for an amazing clear and wide stereo image. If you can't afford to spend the money on Mackies or better, Events are the way to go, in my opinion. They're the best pro audio purchase I've made, although the Presonus Firepod has also been treating me well.
