I've only read one interview with T-M about a year ago, and have heard nothing more since; and WF seem to have vanished from the face of the earth.

Both bands are still around.
Things with Without Face face had been going very slowly as the singer and keyboard player were living in the UK. They've now moved back to Hungary and are putting the finishing touches to the new songs.
To-Mera is going fine too, though slowly again. Things picked up speed in recent weeks and the band is now rehearsing regularly and writing lots of songs. A demo should be possible quite soon I think. A To-Mera website is in the works too.
