they were like 1000x better than Emperor when I saw them play together. The fact that Pecattum tried to follow them was even sadder.

yeah, i saw that show and agree- i think even borknagar were a bit better than emperor. something about Ihsahn's stage presence being void of life. the grimy white t-shirt didn't help. and peccatum was just annoying.

Pecattum was about as pleasant as a root canal. Borknagar was cool if only for Nick Barker. Witchery ruled that show... Ishahn was an asshole too, he wouldn't have me interview him while I talked to the Witchery guys all through the night, super cool dudes...

I forgot Borknagar even played, but yeah - Barker is a monster. I always laughed at his CoF pictures until I saw him in person. I'll never laugh at him again.

I am a pretty big Borknagar fan... they seem like nice peeps from their forum here... Sucks hearing that about Ishahn because I dig his music (even Peccatum... ) in a huge way. Witchery rules. New album is killin me.
