Yeah, I recommend preorder because the End Records is the best online metal shop I know.
The Pale Haunt came with a poster as a gift, and I received it pretty fast ( I'm from Spain ).
In fact, I am going to wait to the preorder date to order another items I have in my wish list , so I save on shipping.
And if you are European, 1 euro = 1.27 dollars. It's cheaper to buy in the USA.

I was thinking the same thing.
I would prefer to buy it either from the band or label, as I assume it would more directly support the band than buying through Best Buy (where too many "middle-men" profit). Though it is cool that some of the big box stores are carrying titles from labels like The End, SPV, Century Media, Nuclear Blast, Peaceville, etc.

Yknow, it's a double edged sword for us in terms of where you buy from. On one hand it's kind of nice when people buy our cds from the stores because it makes the distributor happy and it racks up better sales numbers with soundscan and all that crap, which (sadly) makes a difference when trying to get tour promoters to take us on and such. However, when you buy from us directly, then we get the money and it goes back into helping the band, plus it's usually much cheaper to order directly from us or The End, so that's better for you guys. Honestly, either way helps us out, so whether you choose to order it or go pick it up in the stores, it's helping us. As long as you're buying it that's what matters 
I'm fairly sure that The End will do the pre-orders and there's a good chance that there'll be another special premium, like a poster, given away with the pre-orders like before. Ultimately it's up to the label because they have to budget it, but I love doing things like giveaways and bonus materials. As a fan I always loved the extra stuff when buying records back in the day. Actually if and when I can, I will still buy the special versions of albums, like the new katatonia, with the bonus poster and all that good stuff.

Speaking of special releases Larry, are you guys going to be selling anything special on the Euro tour? (IE - similar to the Reflecting in Grey Dusk?)

I don't think there's going to be any special "tour cd" or anything, especially not when the new album is going to be coming out (relatively) soon. We will probably have special tour merchandise available though, more on that soon....
