Hi, I hope you enjoy my Idea of the Arpeggio/Shredding Showbase.
What is Arpeggio/Shredding Showbase?
First you have to pick some part of a song, which is tabbed as GP3 format (www.mysongbook.com). You can also tab it yourself and show us the tab.
After that you pick out one part. I picked out the beginning arpeggios of Concerto (Cacophony - Marty Friedman/Jason Becker).
Then you have to practise it and record it with some recording tool. I used the windows audio recorder. Playing the song with the Guitar Pro 3 Tool www.guitar-pro.com in the background, like I did, is a good thing imo. I did the arpeggio part with speed 125, but not very precise and sometimes not perfect to click.
After that you have to upload it to some webspace and show it here.
The aim is to get better in playing by seeing that other guitar players are faster or more precise .
We can only reach this aim if minimum 2 users upload the same part of the same song.
Now take Cacophony - Concerto and practise this part which I did. I bet that you are better than me, because I'm quite new in the arpeggio thing.
Show you skill and have fun!
