There are a few still left if anyone is interested. Simply call the main desk.

They will be hosting a customer appreciation party next year as well on either Wed or Thurs. Details to come.

Btw..there will be an extra charge for swimming in the fountain next year.

And were you able to use your enourmous pull to get breakfast thrown in next year? I know a bunch of us were surprised, since they neglected to mention the new charge in emails or at check-in.

Nice!!! As it has been every year since PP II; we got our rooms booked there!

even though it get's really hot out there, I'll do my best to avoid the "artmore swiming pool".

Hopefully the customer appreciation party means we won't get charged $7 to our room and chased off by angry natives shooting arrows and throwing spears at us for unwittingly entering the sacred breakfast temple… just for a cup of coffee. :Spin:

I just called and booked my room for next year. They only have single bed rooms but they do have lofts and request a pull-out couch. Price is a little higher than last year by only $10.

Was just informed there are less than 10 rooms remaining. However, some have attempted to book online and found it "sold-out." That is incorrect. There is a 3 night minimum stay required next year. This is simply to give those wishing to enjoy all 3-4 nights first chance.

Booked my room for next year on Saturday.

By the way, did anyone else have issues getting on their wireless? I was able to connect maybe 3 times all weekend and was booted after a minute or 2. My roommates were having he same issue and was just wondering if it was only us.

Is this still just the advance perk of Gold Badge holders? I don't recall a date posted anywhere yet. Next year looks like it might be my year to actually afford to come back.

Anyone can book the Artmore now. Next year's dates are posted on the home page. :) http://www.progpowerusa.com PPUSA XII is Sept. 14-17, 2011

The wireless did suck. We even tried the infamous "ping" to keep the connection going... it helped but still had timeouts.

It wasn't much better from the "business center" downstairs. I think they only had a dial-up connection to their ISP!

Regarding their internet connectivity, they might have been hammered by...well, us. We're a bit more of a 'digital' crowd than yer average boutique hotel habitues. :)

I was using Verizon's WWAN service and noticed that it was noticeably faster at odd hours than during 'peak' times for our crowd, when it bogged down. Not as badly as the hotel's service, though.

Really? They mentioned it to us at check in. But one from our group went down there for breakfast and was never questioned or charged for it anyway.

And yes, the internet sucked. I had no trouble connecting but it was slow as balls.

I thought the wireless was fine. The one with "Artmore" listed as the SSID was shitty but there was another one listed that was a stronger signal that wasn't encrypted so I connected to that. It seemed like it was still the Artmore's wireless because it made you agree to their Ts & Cs before getting out to the net.

I never saw one listed with Artmore in the name, I was always trying to connect to a non-encrypted signal *something*42 or *something*20 (can't remember what it was called) that worked maybe a handful of times. Maybe I was tyring to get on the wrong one?
