A demo of the real MiniMoog for those of you who have no idea what we are talking about here:

OFC the plugin version will NOT sound EXACTLY like hardware, but IMHO it gets about 99% there and has some advantages like polyphony and mod matrix.

ps. Even if you can't speak japanese, check out other synth demo videos by Katsunori UJIIE - this guy knows what goes where when we are talking synths.

I have always had mad respect for people who can bend a synthesizer to their will like this. It's an instrument to learn by itself. I'll also admit that this is one of those few machines in audioworld where I'm still very intimidated by all the buttons. It makes me feel like the first time I've tried to control a compressor. Every button changes something, but I have no idea what I'm doing! That delicious fear...

Yes you need a registration code or the plugin will work only in demo mode.

I got a code but when I try to download the Mac version the image is only 273 kbytes small and I can't mount it. :S

I've used the VST version sometimes and it sounds ok!
