I'd like your take on this, how much of it is true, and how much of it is plausible.

If you just google some key words you'll find lots of news reports...

Personally, I find it odd that a group of Christians would all stand around making arrangements to kill someone out of greed or lust (which seem to be the reason in this case), but the news state the band all knew what was going down and Lambesis paid a hefty sum to get his beloved a new lease on (the after)life.

Why is this thread just coming up now? This happened at least a month ago. He already admitted to doing it and he said his steroid use is what caused it.

Exactly my point, this is far from not practicing what you preach. This is cold hard murder. How can you consider yourself a Christian after this?

Rawshik I just learned of it. Was the tape involving him asking the hitman/cop do it released?

Not that I know of.

I didn't really want to believe it at first either, but as the case went on it became more obviously true. The statements from his wife make it clear that his working out became the priority in his life and he's hardly a Christian anymore. I'm pretty sure he renounced his faith (or at least talked about how he has lost it) in one of the album booklets.

I don't know if he totally lost his faith or what happened, the minor details you'll have to find for yourself. However, he has quite a hefty fee on his hands for this. Who knows if there'll ever be another AILD album (not that anyone should care).

Yeah, if anything it's a good thing this whole ordeal was stopped before anyone got hurt. Prayer's all that fans and those alike can do for Lambesis and his wife, due to none of us really knowing what's going on between them.

Did he admit to doing it? I stopped following the case shortly after it made news, seems crap like this has been happening a lot lately, with The Lost Prophets singer being arrested for conspiring to rape a 1 year old baby. Yeah, messed up. I read that in emails to his wife he said verbatim "I don't believe in God anymore". So, yeah...
