Heya Andy, Apologise if this has already been asked. I had a good look. Love the mix on the the Trivium album. It gets better every time I listen and I notice new things nearly every time.

But my most favourite element of the whole thing is the snare. Just wondering what magic you worked for that snare

I think it might have been recorded in a room, and a drummer may also have hit it! It wouldve been picked up by a microphone possibly?

The drummer hit it with a stick of wood. And did you know the snare used 2 mics? One on top and one at the bottom. Whenever the drummer got tired and started sweating, drops of sweat would fall on top of the snare. Incredible! Where do they get these ideas?
