The Czech Republic isn't exactly a hot bed for Metal bands let alone Progressive Power Metal Bands but damn, Ascendancy really hit it out of the park with their 3rd release (actually 2nd full length and 1 EP). This reminds me of Circus Maximus meets Evergrey at times and it really well done. Most of the tracks aren't online but The Dark Side of Philosophy is a great song. Here's a couple links to songs that I could find on you tube. The sest part is the Mp3 version is available on Amazon.com for only $6.99
